We have been manufacturing Optymist regatta boats for many years and we have owned the IODA (International Optimist Dinghy Association) licence. We do not consider mass production due to the fact that quality is crucial for us.
All boats are hand made from high-grade fiberglass reinforced polyester using vaccum bagging technology, which improve significantly both quality and parameters of laminates.
During production process we use materials of leading companies such as:
- REICHHOLD - glue
- ASHLAND - isoftalic resin and high quality gelcoat (MAXGUARD)
- AIREX - PVC foam core
- VETROTEX - glass fibre
- SAERTEX - glass fabric BIAXIAL +/- 45°
